How to Measure for a Necklace or Choker
Use a long piece of string, and with one hand hold one of the ends and wrap the rest around your neck with the other hand where you want your necklace to come to. Measure the length of string on a ruler or yard stick to see how many inches you have for the length of the jewelry. As an alternative, you can use a sewing measuring tape to do the same thing directly.
