How to Measure for a Necklace or Choker
Use a long piece of string, and with one hand hold one of the ends and wrap the rest around your neck with the other hand where you want your necklace to come to. Measure the length of string on a ruler or yard stick to see how many inches you have for the length of the jewelry. As an alternative, you can use a sewing measuring tape to do the same thing directly.

This necklace is 22 inches long, adjustable to 24" with chain. The pendant attached is 4 inches long.
The smaller turquoise beads are 4MM, the large oval turquoise beads are 1/2 inch by 3/8 inch each. The white jade beads are 3MM. The silver beads include 3MM flower spacers, 5MM silver flowers, silver rings which are a little over 1/2 inch in diameter and one large silver ring in the pendant which is a little over 1 inch in diameter.
