I originally bought one of these bracelets so I could learn to make wirewrap bracelets. I was so intrigued and excited at the workmanship of this bracelets, I bought more to share with others.
There is a health warning on the package that the bracelet is not meant for children, assuming that children might suck on the bracelet and ingest lead from the wire, so I can't recommend that you buy this for children. Its for adults only.
The particular gemstones are not identified, but they are not glass. I'm not a gemologist so I could only guess what they are. They are pretty though. The parts used in the bracelet are way more costly than the price would indicate. The package states that it came from China.
The length of the bracelet is 9 1/4 inches including the chain, but you can hook the clasp anywhere in the chain and make it shorter if you wish.
Gemstones gain in value over time so this bracelet will be worth more the longer you own it.
